The Eight Step Hat Written Pattern

I wanted a, hopefully, easy pattern for everyone to follow.

What you will need:

• 41 peg Knitter Knitter Loom
• Yarn (Bulky or 2 Strands of weight 4 yarn)
• Crochet Hook
• Scissors
• Looming tool
• Row counter (optional)
• Stitch markers (optional)

Directions:

Step One: Drawstring Cast On

Step Two: Ewrap Knit for 3 rows

Step Three: Purl 3 rows

Step Four: Figure 8 Stitch in a round for 6 rows

Step Five: Close off the drawstring cast on by pulling yarn and using a crochet hook. 

Step Six: Ewrap Knit 2 rows

Step Seven: Rib Stitch for 10 Rows  Note: You will be ending each row with a Knit and starting with a Knit. 

Step Eight: Crochet Bind Off with 4 chains in between. Make sure to join the last stitch with the first. See video for more info.
