**This is designed for milder winter weather.**
What you will need:
- Worsted Weight Yarn (4) in a dark red. (I believe mine was a Red Heart Super Saver yarn but unsure of exact color since I don't have the label anymore.)
 - Adjustable Hat Loom from Knitting Board (KB)
 - Looming Tool
 - Row Counter
 - Crochet Hook
 - Stitch Markers
 - A tiny rubber band or another item to help you know when you have reached the beginning again. I placed a tiny blue rubber band on a section of the loom before attaching together to help me know when I was at the start again.

Pattern:
- Assembly loom in the "large" format (This gives a slightly looser fit depending on your head size so you may want to adjust down if you have a small head. My head circumference is around 22 in.)
 - E-wrap cast on all pegs
 - K1 P1 using "U Knit" for the Knit part Repeat 6 times
 - P1K1 again using "U Knit" for Knit part repeat 3 times
 - Purl
 - Chunky Braid Stitch (Note: Watch your tension as you work around otherwise it will be hard to knit over as you work the last time around. Work the last time around one peg at a time to help with tension.) Click here for video on this stitch.
 - Purl
 - Repeat: Chunky Braid Stitch then Purl row 4 times
 - K1 P1 (U Knit for K again) repeat 10 times
 - Purl
 - Repeat: Chunky Braid Stitch then Purl row 3 times
 - E-wrap knit 12 rows
 - Gathered Bind Off. Use a crochet hook to help close up hole if need be. Be careful with how tight you pull!

Hope you like it!!
