Short and Sweet Bag

You will need:
  • Yarn
  • 36 peg loom (Knifty Knitter small pink loom was used.)
  • Looming tool
  • Scissors
  • Crochet Hook
Directions:
  • E-wrap cast on
  • 3 rows of the Figure 8 Stitch
  • 2 rows of the Chunky Stitch
  • 5 rows of the Purl Stitch
  • 10 rows of the "Tight" Stitch
  • 20 rows of the Half Stitch
  • Now you will have two loops left on each peg, therefore do 1 row of e-wrap knit where you take the bottom two loops over the top.
  • Take the loops off the end pegs (circled below) and move them to a nearby peg.
  • Knit those pegs over
  • Now move the loops from the  "top" row to the "bottom" row, knit over.
  • From here with need to bind off the loops on the pegs using a crochet hook. Using the working yarn, remove the first loop and place it on the crochet hook. Do two "chains" then place the next loop on. Take the back loop over the front loop. Repeat this process until at the end of the row.
  • Bind off completely, by cutting the working yarn and I tend to but a couple knots for added security.
  • For the handle, weave a strip of fabric (or something similar) back and forth in the beginning row of the Figure 8 Stitch.
  • Tie the fabric ends together (I also did a bow.) Then grab two "middle spots" on the fabric to make the handles on each side. For more detail of this process check out the video, linked above.
