This is designed for a small wrist with a circumference of 6 inches.
Directions:
Set up your Sock Loom 2 (or All In One Loom) to 18 pegs in a round.
Before casting on, place 20 ponybeads on the yarn. I did two black, then two blue but you can do whatever colors you want.
- Ewrap cast on.
- Row 1-4: Rib Stitch (K1P1)
- Place Stitch markers as shown below:
- Row 5: P4 K5 P4 K5 However, when you reach the pegs with the markers during the K5 you will knit the peg, then drop a bead, then knit the next two pegs, then drop a bead again, then knit the last peg before moving on to the next P4. You will repeat this when you hit the next K5.
- Row 6: P4 K5 P4 K5 WITHOUT dropping beads.
- Row 7: P4 K5 P4 K5 Again when you reach the pegs with the markers during the K5 you will knit the peg, then drop a bead, then knit the next two pegs, then drop a bead again, then knit the last peg before moving on to the next P4. You will repeat this when you hit the next K5.
- Row 8: P4 K5 P4 K5 WITHOUT dropping beads.
- Now view the last two rows (7 & 8) as a "set". Complete 3 more sets for Rows 9-14.
- Row 15-18: Rib Stitch K1 P1.
- Crochet Bind Off with 2-3 chains in between depending on how loose you want the end to be. I used 2.
- Weave in any tails.
- Enjoy!
I just wanted to share a cute picture of when my daughter decided her little stuffed "Stitch" toy from the movie "Lilo And Stitch" needed to wear the band.
